Dieting Asian Style

Lately, my weekend menus have featured an Asian meal. I've discovered that it's an easy way to have a meal that is diet-friendly, nutritious and full of flavor. The recipes are a little labor intensive but that makes them perfect for weekends when I have time to indulge my inner Julia Child.

Here are links to recipes I've tried:

Kung Pao Chicken (cal 217; carb 8; protein 27; fat 9) with Veggie Stir Fry (cal 100; carb 14; protein 6; fat 3) Total for meal: cal 317; carb 22; protein 33; fat 17

Spicy Asian Lettuce Wraps (cal 374; carb 16; protein 26; fat 24) with Sesame Green Beans (cal 139; carb 13; protein 4; fat 9) Total for meal: cal 513; carb 29; protein 30; fat 33

Asian Turkey Meatballs (cal 228; carb 4; protein 25; fat 13) with Asian Snap Pea Salad (cal 98; carb 16; protein 3; fat 3) Total for meal: 326; carb 20; protein 28; fat 16
